Why Use a 12-VOlt System
- It's at least half the cost of installing a high voltage system.
- It's safe. Kids and pets won't be harmed by it.
- It uses at least half the electricity that high voltage uses. You'll see the difference in your monthly electric bill.
- Flexibility. Unlike high voltage fixtures your low voltage can be moved. A growing plant won't overtake your lighting.
- Your yard won't be torn up by deep trenching or heavy equipment. High voltage has to be dug in at least 12".
- Adding additional lights is easy. We always allow for expansion when specifying your transformer.
- You typically won't need to hire a licensed electrician.
- Most lighting plans do not require additional circuits.
